Founded back in 1983 in Saudi Arabia by Xenel as the hospitality services arm of the group aimed at providing catering services to group companies, realizing the needs of the growing regional industrial sector for catering & life support services, the scope was soon re-developed to meet the hospitality services requirements of the industrial sector as a whole. Karam is providing since then an internationally recognized standard of a wide range of industrial services from catering to full camp management services that include but not limited to laundry, housekeeping, cleaning & janitorial services, logistics, manpower supply, and full facility management services.

In 1994 Karam operations were extended to Kuwait to utilize its strengths and experience in the hospitality sector to meet the growing demand of these services there. Capitalizing further on its operational strengths, operations were extended to Qatar as well in 2004.

In 2007, in order to position itself to serve the anticipated significant growth in various market sectors within the Saudi Arabian economy, a technical partner was sourced to strengthen the operations. The Tsebo Outsourcing Group, based in Johannesburg, South Africa, with its market-leading “FEDICS” brand, was selected, resulting in the formation of a new company, “KARAM FEDICS SERVICES” in Saudi Arabia.

In 2010, Karam Fedics operations were spread to Bahrain to cater to the requirements of various Saudi Arabian based clients who wanted Karam’s services there as well.
